Toledo's own Local 50 of The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry will be celebrating the 125th anniversary of its union’s charter on Saturday, May 16, with an evening gala held at Owens Community College.

Local dignitaries to fete Toledo building and construction trades institution, UA Local 50, during its 125th anniversary celebration on May 16. The special event will commemorate the many generations of Local 50’s plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC-R and welding professionals and their dedication to building up the communities across the region. UA Local 50 represents the best-trained and most highly-skilled professionals of their respective industries in the region, which is certainly worth celebrating.

The anniversary event will highlight the union’s history and accomplishments, while also looking ahead to many more years of growing the communities in which UA Local 50 members not only work, but also reside and raise their families.

Congratulations to UA Local 50 on this once-in-a-lifetime event - here's to 125 more years of helping to better our community!
