Northwest Ohio’s newest medical facility is counting on the knowledge and skill of Piping Industry members to ensure the safety of donated plasma.
Our refrigeration mechanics, welders and service mechanics are busy turning a vacant retail store into a plasma donation center.
Two Piping Industry contractors have journeymen and apprentices working on the decades-old building, installing vital components to the gutted structure.
Among the work being done is the replacement of HVAC lines – both inside and outside – installation of pipe hangers and pipes being welded together.
Other Piping Industry tradesmen are tasked with constructing the plasma cooler. This pre-fabricated structure uses the latest in foam technology to ensure a properly constructed and sealed cooler can maintain a temperature of negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit. By maintaining a negative 40-degree temperature, donated plasma can be used for a number of lifesaving purposes.
From plumbing to standard HVAC work and specialized projects, the training, education, skill, and high-quality work performed by Piping Industry members makes our contractors the easy choice for the region’s heating, cooling, and plumbing services.
