Plumbing I
This course demonstrates the use of proper wastewater disposal systems and present alternative water sources through advancements in plumbing methods in order to effectively protect and conserve water.
The course will review the importance of plumbing drainage in the piping trades industry in addition to gaining knowledge in the following areas:
- History of plumbing systems, general regulations and plumbing definitions
- Draining system piping materials and supports
- Traps and fixture connections
- Fixture supply units, pipe sizing for drainage and venting
- Sanitary drainage systems and piping installation
- Water heaters and related plumbing codes
- Indirect and special waste systems
- Vent systems
- Traps, interceptors and separators
