UA Heritage
Established in 1889, the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada has supported and provided for their brothers, sisters, apprentices and retiree members. The UA’s survivial and longevity exist today on the backs of those who came before us. Now, the present and future members bear the responsibility of carrying-on.
The purpose of this course is to provide insight of the operations of the UA and the union principles, to provide an understanding of the importance of safety in the workforce, the Standard of Excellence, and the different contracts that are affiliated with different jobsites.
