A2L Certification

A2L certification A2L certification trains HVAC technicians on the safe handling, transport, and installation of mildly flammable, low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants now replacing R-410A. Programs cover safety, regulations, and system requirements. This course consists of 4-hours, once a week, totally 12 classroom hours. 

Low GWP Refrigerant Safety: A2Ls (Mildly Flammable)
The Low GWP Refrigerant Safety: A2Ls (Mildly Flammable) Certification exam addresses the safe handling of A2L (mildly flammable) refrigerants.

The 50-question, closed-book exam covers the following competencies:

  • General Flammable Refrigerant Safety Knowledge
  • Core ACR Knowledge
  • Flammable System Service Safety
  • Flammable System Installation Safety
  • Flammable Refrigerant Transportation and Handling Safety

Space is limited. Reservations will be secured with payment in full. Complete and submit the registration form and you will be redirected for payment. There is an additional 3% service fee for debit and credit card payments. To avoid fees, checks are accepted in the office. No cash accepted.
