Foreman Certification
This Foreman Certification is a 40-hour course designed to provide current and or prospective supervisors with the necessary information to improve their performance and their leadership skills to run an effective crew. In addition to practical experience, this course outlines critical topics such as leadership, relationships, documentation, planning and scheduling, safety, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and measuring & managing productivity.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will complete the UA/MCAA Foreman Certification Exam to receive your credential.
The UA/MCAA Forman Certification is a four-year credential designed to train leaders in construction management.
Renewal Information:
- Before your 4-year term expires, you are required to complete at least 3 to 4 hours of update/refresher training through your Local UA Union Training Facility.
- You must submit the documented UA/MCAA Foreman Recertification Form, providing your employment history during your certification period.
