Journeypersons can increase their expertise and knowledge by attending our forty-hour Plumbing Code class taught by our experienced professional instructors. Classroom material covers the latest (2024) Ohio Plumbing Code, required effective Oct. 15, 2025.

This course will demonstrate the importance of plumbing codes in the piping trades industry and justify expectations that apply to their daily work by interpreting code book definitions and general regulations specific to:

• Fixtures, faucets and fittings
• Fixture supply units, pipe sizing for drainage and venting
• Water supply units for domestic water
• Water heaters and the plumbing code
• Sanitary drainage systems
• Indirect and special waste systems
• Vent systems
• Traps, interceptors and separators
• Building storm drainage systems
• Special piping systems, medical gas, oxygen, non-potable water, irrigation systems
