Piping Industry Takes Part in University of Toledo’s Engineers Week

As part of its annual Engineers Week to celebrate the achievements and regional impact of those in the industry, the University of Toledo recently held an Engineering Career Expo with the Technical Society of Toledo on Wednesday, February 25. The Piping Industry's Brad Mich and Steve Stewart were on hand inside UT's Nitschke Hall to help familiarize professional and student engineers with our organization and the steps we and the Piping Industry Training Center are taking to advance our industry. 

 

“Each year, Engineers Week celebrates the many contributions of engineers to society,” Dr. Steven Leblanc, interim Dean of the University of Toledo’s College of Engineering, said. “Our UT College of Engineering produces top-notch engineering graduates, and Engineers Week allows us to showcase our students. It gives us an opportunity to engage the community and local students in some engineering-related activities.”
